HEICO Component Repair Group is currently looking for an Engineering Intern for our Structures Division. If you are outgoing, a fast learner and looking for a company where there is a chance for advancement, this is the position for you. The position will be located in Miami, FL. In this position, the Engineering Intern may be required to: * Perform highly specialized job duties required to develop aircraft structures metallic and composite repairs for most commercial and some military aircrafts, including detailed repair instructions * Duties may include developing repair drawings as required; developing substantiation data, including stress and fits and clearances analysis as applicable using OEM technical references, industry specifications and procedures * Propose alternate materials, processes, and/or components to the repair processes Requirements * Proficient in CAD programs such as AutoCad, Inventor, SolidWorks, etc. * Project Management * Highly organized and able to prioritize rapidly changing assignments * Manage multiple priorities * Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills * Highly responsive to customer requirements * Proficient in the use of MS Excel, Word, amp; Outlook * Able to prepare and analyze data This is a great position for someone who loves challenges, a chance to learn an exciting business, and looking for an opportunity to move up in a successful company.
