This intern position will work with Project Accountants and assist with accurate monthly costing and accounting of project related financial data, as well as understanding all financial aspects of a project while working together with the project teams to ensure maximum profit with minimum risk. What You'll Do: Performs accounting activities with assistance; Scans backup documents; Assists with journal entries; Assists with research by collecting supporting documentation; Assists with reports, filing, data entry, and records and maintains accurate and complete financial records ; Performs other duties as assigned. We're Looking For: Knowledge of mathematics functions High level of attention to detail Strong working knowledge of MS Office; Ability to perform all work in a timely, professional and efficient manner while effectively communicating and interacting with customers, clients, subcontractors and other third parties; Ability to present information in a clear and understandable manner in both written and verbal form; Ability to work with others in a team environment, exercising effective interpersonal skills; Ability to comply with all company policies, practices and standards of performance; Working towards Bachelors/Associates Degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent through experience Skanska is an equal opportunity employer.
