Editorial & Storytelling Intern Swoonery - New York, NY InternshipEstimated: $28,000 - $36,000 a year Education * Bachelor's Degree * Master's Degree Are you a passionate storyteller and excellent writer? Swoonery has an opportunity for you to do what you love by writing articles, interviewing designers, creating content and product copy that delights and engages our clients and brings the world of designer fine jewelry to life. This internship will teach you how to turn your passion into a skill you can build a career with by optimizing your writing talents for search engines. Qualifying candidates may be offered a part-time Responsibilities: * Coordinate with brands and interview designers for content (i.e. reaching out) * Contribute to the creation and ideation of interview questions * Create traffic-driving longer form editorial pieces * Introduce and execute innovative editorial concepts * Use SEO strategies on a daily basis to create editorial content and product copy * Work closely with other publications and editorial partners to create content to be published on their platforms as well as on Swoonery. Requirements: * Bachelor's or Masters in English, Art History, or Journalism (or related) * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English * Very strong communication and collaboration skills * Experience within the art, fashion, media, or journalism Please send 2 writing samples along with your resume and a cover letter telling us why you'll be a great addition to our team.
