Position Intern Marketing Analyst Description The Healthcare Association of New York State seeks a temporary, part-time Intern to assist and support the Communications and Marketing Strategy Division in tracking and analyzing marketing campaigns. Schedule: Flexible hours, approximately 20/week, Monday through Friday, during normal business hours, from June to August, 2019. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Develop dashboard to measure marketing KPIs for email, social media, websites, and digital marketing campaigns * Analyze data about target audiences, competitors, and market conditions using statistical software * Convert complex data and findings into understandable tables, graphs, and written reports * Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data, such as surveys, questionnaires, and opinion polls Position Requirements * Experience in market research, marketing analytics or a related field. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Tableau or similar software * Working knowledge of a widely-used analytics platform, such as Google Analytics * Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge * Adequate knowledge of content management systems, search engine marketing and marketing email automation systems About the Organization HANYS is the only statewide hospital and continuing care association in New York. We are located near Albany and represent 500 not-for-profit and public hospitals, nursing homes, and other healthcare organizations. Our members are not only the largest providers of inpatient and outpatient care, and essential providers of primary care, they are among the largest employers in many communities. We harness the power of a unified statewide membership and collaborate with regional, state, and national associations. HANYS advocates before Congress, the Governors office, the State Legislature, and state and federal agencies.
