As part of the HealthONE family, The Medical Center of Aurora, North Suburban Medical Center, Presbyterian/St. Lukes Medical Center, Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children, Rose Medical Center, Sky Ridge Medical Center, Swedish Medical Center, and Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital work together to provide a higher level of care. In addition, our family of services includes six hospital free-standing emergency departments and numerous ambulatory surgery centers, occupational medicine clinics, physician practices, imaging centers, and AIRLIFE-DENVER, which provides critical care air and ground transportation across a 10-state region. Position Description: The intern for the Marketing Department will assist with internal and external marketing and communication efforts for Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children, the HealthONE system and select employed physician practices. The intern should possess an interest in and experience with writing and editing for a variety of audiences, the ability to multi-task and the flexibility to adapt to various priorities. The intern will gain experience in internal communication, community relations, special events, media relations, presentations, production of promotional materials and other marketing endeavors. Though the responsibilities for the position will be focused on Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children, there will also be opportunity for the intern to be involved with system projects for HealthONE hospitals and physician practices. The position is part-time throughout the summer of 2019 and will report to the Marketing Director at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children and the Vice President of Marketing and Community Relations for the HealthONE health system. Qualifications Licensure/Certification/Registration: None Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of social media platforms and how they are used. Exceptional communication (both listening and writing) skills. An appreciation for health care industry and services. Ability to coordinate and prioritize duties.
