Digital Marketing Paid Internship (Summer 2019) Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando - Orlando, FL4.2 Full-time Save Digital Marketing Internship (Summer 2019) Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando is a non-profit animal welfare agency dedicated to the well-being of dogs and cats in Orange, Seminole and Osceola Counties. More than 7,000 homeless dogs and cats will turn to the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando for caring and hope through our animal shelters this year. Our goal is to provide compassionate and knowledgeable services for pets and to be leaders in innovative animal care and veterinary medicine. We are looking for an individual who is available to work 15-20 hours per week for the summer (June Aug). This is a paid internship. Position: This internship provides an introduction into the varied responsibilities of a marketing/social media/communications professional, and into the the nonprofit/animal welfare environment in particular. This highly creative and motivated individual will work directly with the Digital Marketing Manager to conceptualize and produce creative campaigns, social media content, and a wide variety of graphic materials. Responsibilities: Develop and design marketing collateralboth digital and printincluding fact sheets, flyers, posters, banners, and signs Prepare engaging and creative social media posts for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc. Management of content calendar for social media, events, blog posts, and email campaigns Analysis of social media to improve targeted Facebook advertising Assist with photography/videography (shooting, editing, etc.) Create blog content focused on Pet Alliance services and initiatives Please include a resume and cover letter in your application. Qualifications: Currently enrolled or recently completed college coursework in marketing, graphic design, public relations, communications, or similar subject Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop applications Understanding and active engagement on social media platforms Excellent layout, typography, and organizational skills Photography, video editing, print production and website design experience (HTML/CSS basics) is also a plus Creative writing skills and proofing are also required Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Ability to take initiative, show good judgment, and manage projects from beginning to end Ability to work in an independent as well as a collaborative team environment Save
