Art Gallery and store internship Lois Lambert Gallery/Gallery of Functional Art - Santa Monica, CA Part-time Save Skills * Adobe Photoshop An art gallery in Santa Monica at Bergamot is seeking a hard-working, motivated, and reliable intern. This internship would provide the qualified applicant with a well-rounded experience of working in a fine art gallery and gallery store. - photography and graphic design most important - light art handling and installation, packing and unpacking artworks - gallery store orders - participating with opening receptions/special events - market research Requirements: - must be organized and amicable - experience using a digital camera and knowledge of Photoshop a must - up to date knowledge of social media platforms - understanding and interest in modern and contemporary art Commitment: 1-2 days a week, 10am-6pm Wednesday and Thursday, Today 11am to 6pm for a period of 4-6 months.
