Internship, Manufacturing Engineering Omnicell, Inc. is currently looking for an Intern to join our Manufacturing Engineering team located in St. Petersburg, FL. The Intern will assist with process development for the Consumables Engineering group. Responsibilities: * Manage projects to support development of business processes from a R&D state to full production. * Under Manufacturing Engineers supervision, develop processes, work flows, perform DOEs and assist in projects for the St. Petersburg factory. * Write manufacturing and test instructions. * Oversee development of manufacturing activities to recommend improvements or document changes. * Evaluate issues and failures to determine root cause and potential corrective actions. Required Knowledge and Skills: * Must be able to work in a team environment and assist cross functional teams with complex issues. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong organization skills and committed to collaborative processes. * Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of products. * Familiarwith 3-D CAD modeling * Must be permanent resident of the U.S. or U.S. citizen. Basic Qualifications: * Currently working on or completed BS/MS in an Engineering discipline. * GPA of 3.0 Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with Solidworks CAD software. * Experience in a manufacturing plant environment.
