Development & Communications Intern International community Foundation - National City, CA Part-time$14 an hour Save Education * Bachelor's Degree * Associate's Degree Skills * Excel * Multilingual * Microsoft Office Position Description This position supports ICFs operations and staff through general administrative, programmatic, and developmental assistance. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the basics of the nonprofit sector, philanthropy, and international development. Scope of Work & Duties * Administrative & Programmatic Support * Provide general administrative support (i.e. importing data, proof-reading) * Prepare for implementation of Salesforce CRM * Work with CRM Implementation partner and ICF staff to continue process of FIMS database clean-up before transfer to Salesforce * Assist with maintenance of Salesforce; troubleshooting and coding * Basic edits to FIMS Profiles; creating new profiles; typos and fact-checking data such as addresses, titles, phone numbers, merging profiles, etc. * Assist with custom implementation * Assist with import and implementation of Salesforce * Marketing & Development Support * Assist with social media campaigns, website updates, and media outreach, as needed. * Develop mailing lists and content for online e-blasts to donors/fund representatives and stakeholders * Blog Post; Image edits * Research/assist with implementation of potential additional marketing and development opportunities * Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications * Passion for ICFs mission and geographic regional focus areas, as well as a general interest in international development. * Currently pursuing a associates/bachelors' degree * Ability to demonstrate attention to detail. * Ability to demonstrate a professional demeanor. * Strong donor/client service orientation in person, on the phone, and in email/written correspondence. * Strong communications skills, including a sense of diplomacy, flexibility, and discretion. * Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including competency in Excel. * Excellent verbal and written skills in Spanish and English, and ability to articulate matters related to our industry in both languages.
