See more about us at https://www.apbagency.com/ The Role The A&R Intern position is multifaceted so we need someone who is adaptable, takes direction, and can think outside the box. Excellent task management and attention to detail are a must. Duties of theA&R Intern include providing support to our managers and artists, assisting in strategic thinking and managing our company's general administrative activities. General administrative activities include but are not limited to communicating with talent buyers throughout the booking process, developing innovative marketing campaigns, developing relationships with other local artists, and organizing / planning events for our artists. The right candidate may have the opportunity to expand into a full-time management position in the future. Why work with us? Part-time position (initially 20 hrs per week) Work remotely with periodic meetings in Boston area 1-4 times per month Responsibilities Be proactive - take ownership of a challenge Be persistent - follow up, be accountable Be highly attentive to detail Meet deadlines Acting as an ambassador for the artists brand (street team & promotion) Scheduling (rehearsals, video shoots, recording sessions, etc) Booking Gigs/Tours (correspondence with venues & promoters via email & phone) Planning gigs (work with coordinators to plan performance) Attending and coordinating at events (ability to travel to events required) Data entry into templates (contracts, google docs, spreadsheets, emails, calendar, etc..) Providing administrative support to Director of A&R, Marketing Team, and Booking Team Qualifications: Excellent writing and communication skills Must be self motivated and work well independently Excellent organizational skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to multitask effectively Standard computer skills; Google Drive/Docs/Excel/Calendar/Email Background in management, sound or marketing is preferred How To Apply: Please email resume and cover letter management@apbagency.com Please note that this is an unpaid for credit internship opportunity.
