The group takes pride in advancing and filling the needs for better water reuse, waste treatment and renewable energy resources throughout the world. Led by a well-respected and talented team with deep experience in different focus areas, the Water and Biogas practice at Montrose has a unique advantage in the industry and is well-positioned for continued success. We are looking for an Engineering Intern who will be able to work on a temporary, part-time basis (approximately 25-30 hours per week) at our headquarters located in Irvine, CA. This intern will be working with our Global Water Practice team under the supervision of the Vice President of the Global Water Practice. Assists with the preparation, editing and/or review of proposals and related project documentation. Assists with preparing sketches/drawings and report figures for site plans, cross sections and adaptations to site-specific treatment systems under guidance of the Manager. Assists with procuring materials and/or equipment. Researches potential equipment, systems and providers. Assists with field work including, but not limited to, water sampling and system testing, as needed. Maintains confidentiality at all times. Exercises safe work practices by following all Company safety rules and OSHA regulations, including attendance at all required safety training programs. Participates in Companys continuous improvement programs and provide support to team efforts. Keeps up-to-date and current on industry trends by completing formal training, reviewing professional publications, and attending professional workshops. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Currently enrolled in an undergraduate Civil, Chemical, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering curriculum, Environmental Science curriculum, or currently has a Bachelors degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering Proficient with AutoCAD Proficient with Microsoft Office software, Google and/or PC programs Ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel/management Strong problem solving and analytical skills Solid organization and time/project management skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Able to work independently manage multiple responsibilities (i.e. self-starter, self-motivated) English language competency Willingness and ability to travel as needed Possess valid drivers license in good standing Montrose Environmental Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse workforce.
