Job Information Next Step Health Care Summer Graphic Design Intern in Woburn, Massachusetts Next Step Healthcare is seeking a Part Time Summer Graphic Design Intern! This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking for an internship that will allow them to utilize their graphic design prowess; participate in the overall new branding of our Company and access to members of the Senior leadership team. Next Step Healthcare is one of the largest skilled nursing providers in Massachusetts. We have recently branded our Company. We have an opportunity for an intern to now participate in creating marketing campaigns and materials. These materials include but are not limited to Social Media platforms, infographics, flyers, brochures and more. The designer will advance and apply their skills by working with senior creative and marketing staff on a range of ambitious and innovative creative projects. They are responsible for helping to execute the creative deliverables for marketing campaigns including: branding, print collateral design, digital and traditional advertisements, landing pages, social media graphics, videos, and more. They must exhibit a significant understanding of typography, layout, animation and art direction to help the team produce the best work possible. Ideal candidates would have experience working with a marketing and design team and have a passion for design. Position responsibilities include, but are not limed to: * Conceptualizing and executing deliverables for print and web design projects, including but not limited to: * Design of print collateral (brochures, posters, booklets, informational sheets) * Social media graphics, website and video asset creation * Executing website edits and updates (WIX platform) * Landing pages for use in ad campaigns including mock up designs and assisting with front and or back end development * Designing email blast templates and associated graphics * Assisting with video production and editing * Actively contributing new, creative ideas that will help push our creative and marketing brand Skills & Qualifications: * Currently have or are in process of obtaining a Bachelor?s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communications, Advertising, Marketing, or related field from a 4-year college, university or design school * Proficiency using Adobe creative suite applications: Illustrator/ After Effects/ InDesign/Photoshop * Self-motivated, creative thinking and problem solving * Ability to independently manage simultaneous projects in an organized manner * Strong attention to detail * Effectively communicate with an integrated marketing and design team * Have a key understanding of prioritization and timelines * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to understand and effectively deliver projects for clients * Marketing, advertising and SEO knowledge is a plus * Pre-press / printing process knowledge is a plus Only candidates who are able to submit a portfolio will be considered for this position.
