Job Information Catholic Health Intern Student Pharmacy Operations MHB in Buffalo, New York Status: Full Time Facility: Mercy Hospital of Buffalo Work Schedule: Days Shift: 1: Exempt from Overtime: Exempt: No FTE: 1.000000: Bargaining Unit: ACE Associates Summary: The Intern position is a temporary position. The position is designed to utilize the intern on various special projects outlined by the Manager Pharmacy with additional oversight by the pharmacy operations specialist. Under the direction of the Manager Pharmacy and operations specialist, the intern also supports operational and administrative programs within the Department of Pharmacy. The Intern may participate in regular department meetings where he/she may be asked to deliver reports or coordinate follow-up action. The Intern will also support the office of the Manager Pharmacy with tasks, analysis, preparation of presentations and other duties as assigned. Responsibilities: EDUCATION * Enrolled in High School * Strong interest in pursuing a career as a pharmacist EXPERIENCE * This position does not require prior health care experience * Prior experience as an employee or volunteer in a pharmacy is preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY * Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills * Ability to handle multiple projects with demands and time schedules * Strong computer skills utilizing Microsoft Excel and Word * Detail oriented and quality driven WORKING CONDITIONS ENVIRONMENT * Normal heat, light, space, and safe working environment * Standing, walking, and occasional lifting required REQNUMBER: 2319
