Job Description Our team integrates cutting edge artificial intelligence algorithms to process data streams from various sources (sensors, social networks, crowd), and generate actionable knowledge. In this project, we aim to develop a mobile app in the field of autonomous driving. The intern will be responsible to develop: * a mobile app with various buttons for user input * an API that third party applications can use to query knowledge base hosted by cloud server We expect the intern to support R&D project activities, participate to regular meetings, and driving the implementation phase. Tasks and Responsibilities: * Developing the backend of the app which supports users registration, input and behavior tracking * Testing the system in controlled, real situations before going live * Preparation of software documentation Qualifications * Proficient in one or more of the following languages (AngularJS, Python, JavaScript ) * Experience in developing the backend of mobile applications * Experience with Ionic is a plus * Front-end development experience is a plus * Experience in using semantic web technologies (Apache Jena, RDF/OWL ontologies, SPARQL endpoints, Prot?g?, Stardog) is a plus Additional Information Major(s): Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or other relevant area Degree level: MS in Computer Science Location: Pittsburgh, PA, USA Duration: 12 weeks (minimum); extension and/or subsequent research collaboration is possible BOSCH is a proud supporter of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) Initiatives * FIRST Robotics (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) * AWIM (A World In Motion) By choice, we are committed to a diverse workforce EOE/Protected Veteran/Disabled.
