APPLY FOR A MARKETING INTERN POSITION AT BRAG HOUSE BH is a college sports app that brings the thrill of live college sports and game predictions into the palm of your hands all while creating the ultimate social experience for people who love college sports and like to brag about how much they know. BH did a soft launch in December and quickly became a start-up darling, attracting thousands of users in the first week, as well as endorsements from NFL athletes and charitable organizations. Approaching 2019, we are preparing to take over the market and would like a you to be part of the movement! At Brag House, you will be intimately involved in marketing efforts for the upcoming college football season. In addition, we will be relying on our loyal intern(s) to increase users through your student body via Experiential Marketing activations. We will collaboratively work on organizing events to gain strong followings right on campus. You will have the opportunity to attend numerous meetings and networking events with corporate leaders, athletes and influencers. You are a social media star, have an entrepreneurial spirit and want to be part of developing an early stage startup? We would love to talk to you! Responsibilities: * Handle all social media accounts (LinkedIn, Face- book, Twitter) with supervision of founders to increase users to BH; * Research social media best practices and ideas from other organizations and universities; * Provide support as needed on various marketing and social media projects to grow the business; * Upload final projects on social media sites with the supervision of founders and creatives; * Serve as a liaison between BH and your student body to create and execute strategies both online & personally to thoughtfully grow users of BH; * Manage and engage current users of BH; * Send weekly report of hours worked and questions to supervisor; * Assist with Branding and Brand Development; * Assist with developing a Marketing campaign focusing on membership recruitment, programing, and events; * Attend staff meetings when necessary (in person or conference call) * Working on group projects with other interns Qualifications: * Must be available to meet once a week with the Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator to discuss progress on projects (in person, on the phone, or some form of face-time); * Must be available to participate in a Board meeting in NYC (in person, on the phone, or some form of face-time); * Self-starter; able to work well without constant direction; * Strong oral and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Strong computer skills; experience with social net- working sites. Previous marketing skills strongly preferred Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 SKILLS TO BE DEVELOPED: Sharpen your personal skills and gain hands-on training in strategic management and organizational leadership in a ground breaking industry; Learn about practical marketing skills, including marketing strategy, research and consumer behavior, customer relationship marketing, database marketing, and marketing analytics.
