Interns will be responsible for managing registration data, social media engagement, and on-site event logistics for the National Team. Selected interns will be required to travel and represent USA Football at National Team events across the country. Duties and Responsibilities: Travel and assist with event operations at the International Bowl, Regional Camps, High School Training Camps, and Middle School Bowl Games. Assist the National Team programs through operations planning and support Engage with athletes on social media to ensure a positive experience from registration to post-event communication follow-up Input and manage data collected at Regional Development Camps on the CRM system Assist with National Team blog & Social Media content and stories to be posted on USAFootball.com Manage registration data Create National Team FAQs and service all athletes and parents to answer any questions and educate on the program Education: Recent graduate (within past 6 months) or current student pursuing a degree in business, sports management or related area Preferred Skills: Prior sales, social media, and event operations experience is preferred Excellent oral and written communication skills Football knowledge a plus Demonstrated teamwork and work ethic Proficient in Microsoft Office: specifically Excel and Word Available to work extended hours such as nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary Notes: Internship begins September 3, 2019 and ends January 31, 2020 Internship is full-time (40 hours/week) Internships are unpaid, with a $775 nominal monthly stipend, plus parking allowance Reports to Coordinator, National Team Service & Experience Position will be located at USA Footballs headquarters based in Indianapolis, IN Must secure housing and transportation in Indianapolis USA Football supports interns seeking academic credit Interns must identify learning goals and work with supervisor to achieve goals Examine the organization and its industry/environment Analyze and interpret functions and responsibilities Observe professionals in various roles and participate with them where appropriate Apply academic learning to practical and professional work experiences Learn how to perform specific tasks NO PHONE CALLS UNSOLICITED CALLS AND EMAILS WILL NOT BE RETURNED.
