Graphic Design Intern -Campus/Location: -University Park CampusDate Announced: -06/14/2019Date Closing: -open until filledJob Number: -88514Work Unit: -Student AffairsDepartment: -Communications and Marketing -Description Student Affairs Communications and Marketing is seeking a part-time Graphic Design Intern to support the Communications and Marketing Office. The candidate will be expected to work closely with the Student Affairs communications and marketing team to advance the needs of student health and wellness initiatives. The Intern will work under the supervision of the Marketing Strategy Specialist to assist in the execution of creative campaigns through the development of ads, flyers, brochures, digital graphics, logos, and other visual elements. Duties may also include photography or videography, social media and other duties as needed. Applicants should demonstrate creativity; strong design and photo editing skills; experience with Adobe Creative Suite; accuracy and attention to detail; strong organizational skills; dependability; and the ability to work independently and within a team while meeting established deadlines. This is a paid internship for fall 2019 - spring 2020. Interns must be available for approximately 12 hours per week during the fall/spring semesters; flexible scheduling will be permitted to accommodate course schedule. Applicants should be a Penn State undergraduate student. Students majoring in graphic design, marketing, advertising or a related field are preferred but not required.
