Position Details Department: Enterprise Services Category: Information Technology Location: Phoenix Posting #: 454544 Date Posted: 5/28/2019 Employee Type: Regular Position Summary The intern position in Enterprise Services will serve as a training program for a specified length of time agreed upon between the student and the Enterprise Services Team. During the internship, the student will have the opportunity to be exposed to several different operational areas of the organization, as well as engage in Enterprise Services projects during their tenure. Based on the needs of the department and the interest of the student, training will be planned to include IT project management, Enterprise project management and/or Enterprise process improvement. Under the leadership and direction of a Senior member of the Enterprise Services team, the intern will be exposed to and supported through projects to improve overall hospital operations through project management and/or process improvement. Position Duties * Assists with discovery, scoping, management and implementation of projects. * a.Performs shadowing and/or assists with documentation to determine the needs of a new project initiative. * b.Assists with building and/or maintaining project documents, notes/produce minutes. * Acts as a liaison between operational project teams and Enterprise Services during the project life cycle. * a.Assists with coordinating activities or communication between operational members of the project team(s) and the Enterprise Services employees leading the projects. * b.Assists with project documentation as requested or required by departmental standards * Develops and provides training and support for new initiatives and project implementations. * a.Assists with the education of others of the services provided through Enterprise Services. * b.Develops documentation and training materials for project implementations the student is engaged with. * Works cooperatively with all members of the project teams. * a.Demonstrates a willingness and ability to perform within agreed upon parameters. * b.Consistently demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills. * c.Shows good judgement in escalating issues and concerns to appropriate PCH employees. * Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
