Free Radikals goal is provide these services while focusing on providing intellectual property knowledge and community engagement. We are looking for an intern who can embody these goals and provide the company and our artists with quality work and integrity. Free Radikal takes measures to ensure a safe and desirable work environment and a wide creative range for our intern. We will provide the intern with branding/social media training catered specifically to Free Radikals goals. Job Description Responsibilities (not limited to): * ; Work with other members of the Free Radikal team to explore and pinpoint ways to integrate social media into business strategies and branding campaigns. * ; Utilize social media to engage with a community of fans/followers online in a professional and engaging manner. * ; Create a social media branding and communications framework for Free Radikals Facebook page and Twitter that is effective, flexible, and repeatable. * ; Collaborate with team members on projects and assignments. * ; Self start tasks, handle multiple tasks, and make recommendations for clients * ; Assist with writing and editing media releases and other branding materials about company events, services, etc. * ; Assist with social media efforts by maintaining current knowledge of daily tracking analytics and performing research * ; Seek media attention in select markets * ; Upkeep social media and website * ; Provide President of the company with weekly updates * ; The internship is primarily (80-100%) virtual with the exception of attending music events in the community at least once a week, special projects, etc. * ; Interns are 100% responsible for calling in for phone meetings at their agreed upon start time. Qualifications * ; Background in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, and/or Music * ; Demonstrate an interest in social media and how media and communication strategies can continuously engage the online community * ; Be driven, proactive, intelligent, detail-oriented, and personable with a can-do attitude and can understand the dynamics of each social channel and develop original content to attract and engage followers * ; Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills * ; Possess the ability to show initiative, multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines * ; Display an interest in generating creative ideas that align with brand strategies * ; Have knowledge of web writing tactics and how to optimize for SEO * ; Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite preferred, but not required * ; Experience working with Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram (professional experience preferred but not required) * ; Working knowledge of Buffer or Hootsuite preferred, but not required * ; Strong critical thinking skills and ability to exercise sound judgment in communication content and style Job Types: Part-time, Internship
