Golder Associates Inc. has an opening for an **Environmental EngineerIntern** to support our environmental consulting practice in the **Gainesville,FL** office. This position willsupport a wide variety of projects that involve preparing air emission inventories,preparing air permit applications, air pollution regulatory analyses, dataanalysis, and spreadsheet calculation. The successful candidate will work with Golder scientists and engineersto assist clients in multiple industries, including manufacturing, powergeneration, oil and gas, pulp & paper, and mining. Responsibilities for the position include working with the air &engineering group to support a wide variety of projects that involve: * Assist with air emissions calculations * Review air permits and assist in the preparation of air compliancematrix * Review air regulations * Assist with the preparation of air permit applications, reports, andproposals * Analysis of air emissions data from continuous monitors * Analysis of noise and air monitoring data * Internet research and data gathering * Spreadsheet calculations, and * All other duties as assigned **The minimum requirements of this position include:** * Currently enrolled in an environmental engineering, environmentalscience, chemistry or geology/hydrogeology undergraduate or graduate (Mastersor Doctorate) program * The ability to work full-time (40 hrs. per week; approximately 8:00 a.m.to 5:00 p.m.; Monday to Friday) for Summer 2019 (for approximately 3 months) * Ability to work efficiently and independently in an unsupervised officeenvironment * Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills * Database (Microsoft Access) and spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel) skills **Your benefits at Golder will include:** * Deepen your expertise in a dynamic work environment * Innovative and collaborative multidisciplinary projects * On the job training, mentoring and coaching Renowned for technical excellence, Golder is aleading, global employee-owned engineering and consulting firm with over a halfcentury of successful service to its clients.
