The Position The Company is hiring an Apprentice Trainer for MAT 2 mechatronic students. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Agreement, organization and creation of processes in coordination with technical departments and Henry Ford College * Prepare and schedule internal training with focus in Mechatronics, based on MAT2 trainings goals and PAL Exam training goals * Communicate with German Apprentice Trainers, alignment of training goals and methods * Design of new training concepts and development of projects for hands-on training * Contact person for parents, schools, MAT2, DOL and other Institutions Why Work for SW North America The Apprentice Trainer will be able to work in the Companys new state-of-the-art building and be directly involved in the Companys success and growth by building a new department and opportunities for young people. Targeted Experience, Skills, and Abilities * Technical Degree or minimum of 3 years work experience in a (leading) technical position * Experienced in metalworking, preferred in mechatronics * Experience in conventional milling and turning * Aptitude to teach the fundamentals of analog and digital electronics, hydraulics and pneumatics * Ability to understand and create blueprints * Understand the setup and installation of electrical circuits * Coaching, advising and guiding students on all aspects of Mechatronics * Planning and organizational strength * Good didactic and methodical knowledge * Basic knowledge in SPS Programming specifically Siemens and Allen Bradley * Demonstrate and instruct on the basic concepts and terminology of CNC technology, CNC milling, * Preferred but not required Service and maintenance of CNC machines * Ability to speak German preferred, but not required Compensation, Benefits, and Structure The position is full-time and permanent, with a competitive salary based on skills and experience.
