Internship description: Working with our Director, Customer Experience and Quality, you will be asked to work with the Quality Assurance team to act as the last line of defense prior to product release. Our team is ego-free and motivated to build great software. We regularly break out into small teams to tackle problems, learn new technologies, or just share what we know with others. We test our code and invest in the health of our systems. We push each other, learn from each other, and strive to continually grow as a team. Were looking for Undergraduate Juniors & Seniors and Graduate-level students who live in Central Florida. Best fits are those majoring in or have experience in the following areas: Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, and Software Development. Currently recruiting for Fall 2019 (August - December) Will spend at least 2 days/week (preferably 3 days per week) in the IZEA headquarters, located in Winter Park, FL NDA paperwork will need to be signed by students Primary responsibilities: You will support our Engineering teams continued work on initiatives including the manual testing of our IZEAx platforms and applications. What were looking for: Interest in Software Quality Assurance Testing Problem solver at heart and eager to learn Excellent verbal and written communications skills Demonstrated experience with the following will be highly valued: Javascript Experience with Automation tools Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Why would you want to intern here?
