The Ethics team has various responsibilities, including: receive and investigate allegations of associate (employee) misconduct received via a helpline, email box, web form, PO box, etc; review associates conflicts of interest; monitor the companys culture of integrity; conduct screenings against governmental exclusion lists; maintain the companys code of conduct; and oversee company policies such as global anti-corruption, gifts, and non-retaliation. This position will be responsible for delivering and executing foundational compliance responsibilities with consistent excellence that supports the team and management. Primary duties for this position include: � Working with other team members via phone or in-person � Inputting associate concerns into a database � Reviewing potential matches of names in governmental exclusion lists � Assisting associates with policy questions � Assessing potential conflicts of interest reported by associates � Supporting team members on special projects and process improvements � Utilizing Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint), as well as unique online tools / databases available in the Ethics department � Applying critical thinking Qualifications: - Ethics or related majors preferred - Junior or senior preferred - Can start part time (20 hours/week) and work 40 hours during summer Anthem, Inc. is ranked as one of Americas Most Admired Companies among health insurers by Fortune magazine and is a 2018 DiversityInc magazine Top 50 Company for Diversity.
