The Billing Manager position is responsible for providing oversight and support to the billing department and other areas as needed. This is a support position for the Billing Department whose primary responsibilities are the over sight of billing clerks and processing of client invoicing. One must have good analysis and accounting skills for reconciling daily and weekly reports as they relate to client invoicing. Strong communication skills required as this position acts as a liaison between Company and clients to help with inquiries. Excellent organizational skills are required in maintaining accounting information, confidential employee information and other departmental needs as required. The ability to follow procedures and established guidelines a must along with being able to work independently when required and as part of the team. Strong candidate will be proactive and a self-starter. High degree of organization, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (AND OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED) Oversee billing process and supervise two billing clerks. Prepare client invoices and utilize client-based invoice interfaces as required. Identify and resolve billing issues. Prepare and maintain reports for actions, decisions, notices, complaints, and other documents. Respond to client phone inquiries. Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures. Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree in either Business, Finance, or Accounting with a minimum of three (3) years' experience preparing invoices and/or cost reports required, intermediate/advanced user of Microsoft Excel and Word, supervisory experience preferred. Oracle experience a plus. CERTIFICATIONS No certifications required for this position. A candidate must be able to meet the following non-exclusive requirements: &bsp; Meet the AES Driving Records and Motor Vehicle Use Policy. Take and pass a pre-employment drug test which may include both UA and hair testing. Meet the physical requirements of this position including working in a remote location under arctic conditions. Required to take and pass a Fit-For-Duty Exam. Must be able to obtain and maintain an access badge for the work location. The availability of this position is contingent upon the Company's continued operational needs once training is completed.
