IGHID supports 250 users on campus in several office buildings, labs, and a clinic in the hospital. The job requires going back and forth between several buildings, including UNC Hospital, so the tech will need to be mobile and able to make numerous trips between buildings when required. Daily tasks include, but not limited to: ? Unbox, reimage, and set up new computers ? Encrypt laptops and mobile devices ? Basic troubleshooting of Windows and Mac OS issues ? Basic troubleshooting of network printers ? Other tech-related duties when requested Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work. Preferred Skills include: ? Familiarity with troubleshooting cause/effect with PC and Mac Hardware ? Ability to deal with strong personality types in stressor situations ? Strong communication skills necessary for the ability to build good client relationships ?
