Job Information Acadia Healthcare Unit Clerk in Wilmington, North Carolina Description Qualifications: * High School diploma or GED equivalent * Two years general office, excellent computer skills and answering switchboard experience required. * CPI (Offered at facility). * Knowledge of switchboards, typing, Microsoft Office, cash handling. * Ability to work with male and female, adult (18 & over) substance abuse/dually diagnosed/opiate dependent population. Must be able to work with culturally diverse populations. Essential Job Duties and Functions: * Provides general office and clerical services for nursing dept * Handles incoming/outgoing calls regarding processing Vivitrol * Meets with patients and provides educational literature regarding Vivitrol injections, directs patient to nursing for specific information * Gathers insurance information and provide to specialty pharmacy for processing applications * Provides typing services as needed * Ensures Informed Consent for Vivitrol is signed at the beginning of Vivitrol application process * Assist patients in locating injection sites post discharge * Keeps track of VIvitrol application status in an organized manner * Coordinate with specialty pharmacy and provide information as needed for processing applications * Maintains inventory of Vivitrol injections on site (fridge) * Meets with patients to establish eligibility for auricular acupuncture once referral is made. * Maintains list of acupuncture patients for accountability * Communicates with medical staff appropriately * Obtains medical records from outside facilities as needed * Sort incoming faxes appropriately * Orders supplies for Lab Corp as needed * Completes mandatory Essential On-line training * Create / edit templates in Best Notes as needed * All other duties as assigned * Now is the time to become a part of WTC as we are expanding our departments to meet the needs of our patients.
