POSITION DESCRIPTION: This role will be responsible for all aspects of performance benchmarks: Reporting, creating, and managing social media advertising, as well as managing the tools to ensure partner results are measurable and tracked. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented and driven by data, constantly maintaining a current knowledge of industry-specific technologies, and are proficient in digital and publishing software. They enjoy problem-solving techniques and are creative in the sense that you will go to great lengths to see digital success. Interns will also be expected to undertake blog post assignments and contribute to meetings. In this role, the Digital Media Ambassador will work closely with our Social Media Analyst and Paid Social Specialist. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Conduct research including target audience identification, competitive analysis, qualitative website profiling, social media site analysis * Support with the creation of social media advertising strategy presentations * Assist with advertising plans and schedules * Prepare reports and assist with campaign optimization analysis * Work closely with the account team regarding campaign schedules, budgets, and other project management requirements * Organize and design creative assets REQUIREMENTS: * College concentration in finance, business, advertising or marketing preferred * Detail oriented with strong written and verbal skills * Proficiency with Wordpress/Squarespace, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and email advertising * Proficiency using Microsoft Excel * Experience using digital marketing tools such as Sprout Social, Facebook Ad Manager, and Google Analytics for data, reporting, and dashboards * Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate * Proficient and active on social media platforms * Basic graphic design knowledge and familiarity with Adobe Suite (primarily Photoshop) * Knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics is a plus EXPERIENCE: * Social Media Analytics: 1 year * Marketing: 1 year * Communications: 1 year * Advertising: 1 year JOB TYPE: * 16-week Internship in exchange for college credit at the end of the program.
