DESCRIPTION: The Simon & Schuster Fall 2019 Internship Program offers students an unmatched, behind-the-scenes look and learning experience within book publishing. Based on their interests, interns will be placed within specific publishing departments where they will be able to explore all aspects of the business. While guided by a mentor they will experience a day in the life" of an entry level assistant and to learn through speaker presentations, lunch and learn sessions and networking opportunities. The Fall session is a paid program and will run for 8 weeks (16 hours per week). Though we do recommend at least one full day, the students plan their schedule in order to accommodate their academic schedules. QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered for the internship program applicants must be a full time student in either an undergraduate or graduate program.
