(SPAN) Your-Day-to-Day: -(SPAN)Collaborate with team members to build pixel perfect interactive features(SPAN) -(SPAN)Develop web applications integrated with Restful APIs to meet project requirements(SPAN) -(SPAN)Stay up to date on emerging technologies (SPAN) Key Projects: -(SPAN)Migrate legacy front end code to a ReactJS framework in an AWS environment -(SPAN)Implement new features for the2020 fantasy baseball season -(SPAN)Contribute to unit tests for the new ReactJS platform Logistics: -Time commitment: part-time, 20 hours per week during our regular office hours (Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm) but times may vary per team -This is a paid internship and can also be for university credit if it meets your university's guidelines Qualifications: What you bring to the team: -(SPAN)College student on a Computer Science or equivalent degree major with a GPA of 3.0 or above -(SPAN)Youre a problem solver; you embrace getting your hands dirty with unfamiliar technologies -(SPAN)Strong initiative and the ability for creative thinking for product development with the ability to work in a collaborative, innovative, agile and team-oriented environment -(SPAN)Basic understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds -(SPAN)Have worked with a newer Javascript framework, preferably ReactJS but VueJS, AngularJS or BackboneJS are also acceptable -(SPAN)An understanding of Object Oriented Programming and Design -(SPAN)Proficiency with HTML(5) and CSS(3)(SPAN) -(SPAN)Experience integrating data from various back-end services and databases What you may bring to the team: -(SPAN)You love sports, fantasy sports and/or sports gaming -(SPAN)You know CSS preprocessors or frameworks (Less, SASS, Bootstrap, etc).(SPAN) -(SPAN)Experience writing unit tests for Javascript -Basic understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds -(SPAN)Have worked with a newer Javascript framework, preferably ReactJS but VueJS, AngularJS or BackboneJS are also acceptable Additional Requirements: -Intern must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited college or university -Must be at least 18 years old EEO Statement: Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled -�2018 CBS Interactive inc.
