Graphic Artist / Production Artist R&R Partners - Phoenix, AZ3.7 2 hours agoFull-timeEstimated: $45,000 - $60,000 a year Apply Now Education * Bachelor's Degree Skills * Computer Literacy Summary: The Graphic Artist is responsible for the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of all creative while meeting the highest design and graphic standards. Essential Functions: Aggressively deals with potential problems by making recommendations and suggestions for resolution. Attends and actively participates in team and/or status meetings. Carefully reads all work and change orders. Checks materials before forwarding through agency for approval. Checks materials for accuracy before releasing to Project and/or Print Production Managers. Covers additional workload in absence of other graphic artists. Ensures all necessary elements are packaged correctly in ZOOM (R&Rs Digital Asset Management system). If using low resolution FPO, always verifies the necessary high-resolution image is available for usage upon final approval of creative. Ensures that all FPOs are clearly and accurately marked. Keeps daily time sheets, accurate records, and orderly files. Laser with notes clearly marked and/or attached must accompany job jackets. Maintains contact with Resource Manager, Project Managers and Print Production to ensure jobs will be completed on schedule. Maintains positive working relationships with co-workers. Participates in all phases of design support for creative work. Initiates discussions with Resource Manager, Creative Director, and Art Director. Produces documents using the latest technology. Resolves problems affecting quality or timeliness with Resource Manager and Project Managers. Searches for new technology and techniques applicable to the studio and advises management of ways to implement or benefit from them. Works closely with Print Production Managers to ensure work is adhering to production standards. Other Responsibilities: Performs other work-related responsibilities which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job. Understands and abides by the agencys business practices and philosophies as well as understands R&Rs policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in graphic design or combination of formal training with certificate/license. Minimum three years graphic experience in an advertising or related environment. Must be able to multi-task and comprehend written and verbal instructions. Must be computer literate and understand the effects graphics programs have on final production. Must have artistic ability with an eye for design balance. Must be dependable, punctual, and available to work overtime and weekends on short notice. Must be organized with excellent prioritization skills. Must have effective interpersonal skills.
