Summer Intern - Production Boardwalk Pictures - Santa Monica, CA 14 hours agoInternshipEstimated: $30,000 - $38,000 a year Boardwalk Pictures is a Santa Monica-based, award-winning multimedia production company with a primary focus on creating unscripted, documentary content. Boardwalk has maintained a unique track record of producing premium, beautiful and elevated work. Our work includes the Emmy-nominated Netflix original documentary series, Chef's Table. As well as Last Chance U, Street Food, 7 Days Out, Action, Best Shot, and many other series and development projects. We are looking for driven, highly-organized Interns to assist in a wide variety of duties across an active Production department. Tasks could range from day-to-day assistance on individual productions, including inter-office runs, errands, vendor relationships, accounting and other document organization/filing, Call Sheet and Production Report generation, distribution and organization, etc. Additionally, this position will interface with company staff including Post-Production, Accounting, Business Affairs, Development, Executive staff, etc. During the internship, the Production Intern will get a behind-the-scenes look at how a thriving, network-vetted Production Company actually runs. We aim for our internship program to be educational, and as such we will have seminars to review all different facets of Docu-series Development, Financing and Production. Providing intern one-on-one meetings with various department heads. Our Production Intern will have the opportunity to see every stage of the documentary filmmaking process, from pitch to air. Being a relatively small company with a big outlet, we all wear many hats at the office and in the field.
