Real Estate Assistant/Intern Jarel Enterprises, Inc. - Woodland Hills, CA 23 hours agoInternship$15 - $20 an hour Education * High School Diploma or GED Skills * Computer Skills We are a small property management firm that manages apartment buildings in the Los Angeles area. Our company is also involved in the construction and remodeling of apartment projects. We are looking for a candidate that could assist the president of the company with tasks involving the management of the portfolio. These tasks include: 1. Maintain and update property records 2. Maintain and update our filing system 3. Organize documents in our filing system 4. Obtain estimates for various projects 5. Communicate with tenants 6. Communicate with vendors 7. Supervise work being done at the properties 8. Work on uploading our system to an online platform 9. Complete special project and additional duties We require the following abilities and skills: 1. Self-starter with ability to take directions and complete tasks 2. Work under pressure 3. Highly organized 4. Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, and interpersonal 5. Multi tasking skills 6. Computer skills Minimum qualifications: 1. High-school diploma and 2 years of College 2. Work experience in a related field 3. Transportation This is a part time position 20 hours per week Salary $15-20 per hour Job Type: Internship Salary: $15.00 to $20.00 /hour Experience: * Computer Skills: 1 year (Preferred) Education: * High school or equivalent (Required) Work authorization: * United States (Required) Work Location: * One location
