INTERNSHIP SUMMARY: L'Occitane is seeking a current student pursuing a major in Human Resources, Instructional Design or a related field to join us as an intern. The intern will gain general knowledge in various aspects of Learning and Organizational Development through hands-on experience including content management, online learning and Employer Brand initiatives. The ideal candidate must be able to commit at least 28 hours/week. INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist and develop skills in content management Proofread and edit training support materials across all fields of the business (Retail, Corporate and Customer Care) Assist in the research, design and development of learning tools for content related to people development, products and sales Help create training materials such as PowerPoint templates, Monthly Campaign Coaching tools and Quiz guides Research Retail beauty trends, keep up to date and continue to learn and identify best practices to reflect in training materials and promote to the Retail field Support video development: create scripts, story boards and video content Assist in content creation of our online training platform Proofread online learning content Work closely with the team to create and adapt International protocols for product and customer centric eLearning content to reflect the US and Canadian markets Assist and develop skills in Internal Communications and Employer Brand Ensure content reflects our visual identity Support the Senior Director of Organizational Development and Employer Brand on North American Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Initiatives Assist in head office experiential learning sessions Coordinate publications via internal communication channels. Format and upload learning and communication content in the form of articles, videos, and PDFs All other duties or projects as assigned REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree EXPERIENCE Concentration in Instructional Design or Human Resources is preferred SKILLS Highly organized with strong time management skills. Comfortable taking on projects and working under tight deadlines Fluent in English Excellent listening, written, oral and platform communication skills with a strong eye for detail Ability to work effectively within a cross-departmental team Continuous learner. Makes connections, draws conclusions, seeks feedback, identifies areas of improvement, takes initiative, and adjusts accordingly Video editing skills a plus Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Power Point.
