Posted on Program Director Bridge Lacrosse in Dallas, TX, USA Compensation $36,000 to $38,000 Annually Employment Type Full-Time Bridge Lacrosse is a sports-based youth development nonprofit serving the urban communities of North Texas. Our mission is to use the sport of lacrosse to broaden the horizons of our communitys youth. We believe that our programs can become an integral part of youth development in the urban communities we serve. We seek energetic and enthusiastic individuals who will assist us in providing improved outcomes for our youth. Job Title: Program Director (based in Dallas, Texas) The Program Director contributes to all aspects of our sports-based youth development programming. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Program Director provides all organizational and logistical direction to year-round programs for more than 500 youth, in the southern sector of Dallas County. Primary Responsibilities * Oversee all daily activities and operations of programming under the direction of the Executive Director and Bridge strategic plan * Work in collaboration with community partners and supporters to provide the highest level of program quality and support * Serve as point of contact for all members including parents, youth, volunteers and partners * Coordinate all operational aspects of programs during the year, which could include: * Schedule and manage elements of events. such as practices, games, tournaments and workshops * Maintenance of participant and volunteer databases * Manage equipment and uniform inventory, ordering, and storage * Coordinate and manage recruitment and retention of players into the program * Work with Executive Director to manage team budgets * Ensure all programming is delivered effectively and at the highest-level of quality and impact * Develop and manage college access programming in collaboration with the Executive Director * Research and understand community needs in college preparation * Maintain relationships with all parties in the development of college access programming * Organize events and manage timelines for student-athlete needs * Oversee all elements of volunteer and intern training and maintenance * Organize coaches and intern training * Foster and build a culture of family and impact within volunteers * Oversee the performance and development of coaches and interns, provide feedback and accountability to all * Serve as an instructor and role model during camps, demonstrations, clinics and practices and events * Serve as a counselor or staff manager for summer programs * Work in collaboration with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to support organizational goals * Support and assist development and fundraising events, as needed * Support and assist marketing and social media efforts, as needed Skills & Qualifications We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual who believes that sports can play a direct role in providing opportunities to youth. The Program Director believes and excels at maintaining meaningful relationships with all members of our organization. Our ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial and can-do spirit in accomplishing the goals and objectives of Bridge. Lastly, the Program Director must have a great sense of humor and spirit in working with kids on a regular basis. * 2+ years of success within a school, direct-service nonprofit or educational institution * Experience working in fast-paced, youth-centric organization * Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal * Exceptional work ethic and ability to take initiative on ones own to address questions and challenges * Passion and commitment to improving the quality of opportunities for urban communities * Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline focused environment * Must have the ability to manage multiple projects and individuals simultaneously * Must be able to manage and comfortably work with large groups of children and/or adults * Must be able to work nights and weekends, when necessary * Valid drivers license and use of personal vehicle required * Lacrosse coaching background preferred but not required * Computer knowledge and competency a must (Adobe CC, Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite) * Bachelors Degree in education, childhood development, nonprofit management preferred * Language skills such as Spanish a plus, experience working with urban youth and/or knowledge of Dallas communities and school system a plus Compensation * Compensation range of $36,000-$38,000 To apply, email your r�sum� and a cover letter to: info@bridgelacrossedallas.org.
