Verification Team Lead (Healthcare) - Las Vegas, NV Las Vegas, , Billing and Collections Job Summary Responsible for assisting and overseeing Verification Specialists in team processes. Assist leadership in assuring confidentiality is maintained and HIPAA compliance is adhered to. Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following: Oversee and assist all Verification Specialists processes and work product for accuracy and compliance Work and resolve all assigned reports. Review staff productivity and track teams daily statistics. Complete required spot checks per week Review assigned adjustments Assist staff in questions and system issues by resolving and/or submitting new tickets to Information Technology Department. Review and complete emails, callbacks and return phone messages Maintain team payer data spreadsheets with specific insurance billing information Other Duties as assigned. Additional Job Requirements Regular scheduled attendance Indicate the percentage of time spent traveling: 0% Subject to applicable laws and Air Methods policies, regular attendance is an essential function of the position. All employees must follow Air Methods employment practices and policies. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Education & Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED and six to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred. 1 year leadership/training experience preferred Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to prioritize and multi-task and meet deadlines. Ability to be a team player with a professional attitude Ability to manage several projects concurrently Computer Skills Intermediate with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook Air Methods is an EEO/AA employer.
