WSP is currently initiating a search for an Architectural Project Lead based in our San Francisco, California office. Duties and Responsibilities: *Technical leadership to develop construction, contract documents at all levels of production *Project or task management; able to scope, track and guide project progress to achieve desired results and successful completion *Responsible for coordination with other design disciplines, including roadway, structures, hydraulics/drainage, storm water, traffic, electrical, utilities, right of way *Responsible for compliance and verification of all codes, guidelines and governance requirements relevant to team projects *Quality assurance and quality control *Guide and develop junior staff *Interact with clients, lead technical project design meetings Talent is the essence of meeting our clients objectives, goals and challenges. Minimum Qualifications: *Registered Architect in the State of California *Minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience *Strong knowledge of construction drawing standards and building codes, as well as ADA and NFPA compliance *Some transit architecture related experience *Solid understanding of project management tools (Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project) *Solid understanding of architectural tools (AutoCAD, Revit) *Attention to detail and highly organized *Self-starter, able to work independently and able to multi-task *Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and ability to work within a team environment Preferred Qualifications: *Proficient with Revit *Registered Architect in the States of Oregon, Washington, and/or Nevada *NCARB certified About WSP USA WSP USA (formerly WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff) is the U.S. operating company of one of the world's leading engineering and professional services firmsWSP.
