Job Description: Technology Service Corporation (TSC) has an opening for a Senior Mission Engineer. The candidate must possess knowledge and demonstrated mission engineering experience with AEGIS Weapons System, AEGIS Combat Systems, SSDS Combat Systems, LCS Systems, or DDG 1000 Combat Systems to include shipboard operational and laboratory / test bed experience. Candidate will provide mission engineering support for various Requirements Analysis, Test and Evaluation, System Engineering, Cyber Security, and other mission engineering functions related to the systems defined below. Interested candidates will provide a resume that clearly address their qualifications and experience as it relates to the Job Responsibilities, as well as Required and Desired qualifications outlined in this posting. Qualifications Required Qualifications: 1) Experience: Ten (10) years of General Surface Navy Combat Systems military operations experience with five (5) years of specialized experience with emphasis in one or more of the following: a) Combat Systems Cyber Security b) Ships Self Defense System c) Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) class frigate d) Aegis Integrated Combat Systems e) DDG-1000 Zumwalt class destroyer f) Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense g) Weapon/Combat Systems Experience Preferred Qualifications: * Training, skill and experience necessary to conduct detailed, complex system mission engineering activities associated with the systems defined above. * Detailed knowledge of Navy (AEGIS, DDG 1000, SSDS, LCS) Combat System Mission fundamentals. * Ability to clearly communicate verbally and written form with the NSWC Dahlgren management, Sponsors and other associated project team personnel. * Prior proven experience in NSWCDD systems and responsibilities.
