The ASC supports key education programs for the states Departments of Education and Post-secondary Education, as well as a 24x7 Help Desk, Network Operations Center, and technical support for Alabamas K-12 schools, higher education and public libraries. ASC also hosts supercomputers to support Alabama research universities working on significant scientific and engineering problems. Position Summary Provides technical support and troubleshooting to network, desktop, and/or systems hardware and software. Required Experience General Dynamics IT is seeking qualified candidates with the following skills to join our team: High School or GED 0-2 years of professional experience Knowledge or support experience with Windows 7/10, Active Directory and Microsoft Office Suite Experience using ticketing system Strong customer service The position will be based at the Alabama Supercomputer Center in Huntsville, Alabama. General Dynamics IT is under contract to provide support to the Alabama Supercomputer Authority.
