-Summary of Position
-Under general supervision of the Paul College Director of Communications and Marketing, act as the colleges primary storyteller. Responsible for crafting a strategic media plan and for creating a variety of compelling multimedia communications and marketing products to support and advance the colleges brand. Produce videos of social media quality, write web copy and news stories, take photographs, work with freelance writers, manage print publications, and initiate new digital communications strategies and tools. Primarily responsible for managing the colleges social media channels, for creating and budgeting campaigns, and measuring outcomes. Will support the marketing of high priority college events. Requires high level of professionalism, initiative and independent judgment to plan, prioritize and project manage a diverse workload. Must be creative, innovative and deadline oriented.

-1. Bachelors degree preferably in journalism, marketing, communications or news media.
2. Three years of directly related experience (writing, photography, video, social media, web or other content categories).
3. Effective writing skills with attention to audience, tone and nuance.
4. Effective visual skills that include ability to shoot social media quality videos and take photographs.
5. Demonstrated experience with social media and updating Drupal website.
6. Up-to-date knowledge on current trends within higher education.
7. Effective interpersonal skills.
8. Technology skills as required by department.
-Additional Preferred Qualifications
-1. Experience with email communications and marketing tools such as Constant Contact and Salesforce Marketing Cloud; design tools such as InDesign, Photoshop and Canva; project management tools such as Asana.
2. Knowledge of higher education and new/emerging trends in communication.

-Serve as Paul Colleges primary storyteller, creating comprehensive multimedia plan and content for the website, alumni and research publications, brochures, mailers, advertisements and e-newsletters. Work independently to uncover and evaluate story leads from department chairs and directors, faculty, staff and students.Job Duties

-Research, propose and initiate new traditional and digital media strategies to improve communications with current students, faculty/staff, alumni, corporate and nonprofit partners, and others.Job Duties
-Provide logistics and marketing support to help advance high profile college events. Includes conceptualizing, designing and producing flyers, banners and digital slides, developing invitations and mailing lists, publicizing through social media channels, and pitching for media coverage.
