Position Details Summary -Operating Title -COMMUNICATION INFORMATION SPECIALIST II -Long Classification Title -COMMUNICATION INFORMATION SPEC II -Location -UNH, Durham, NH -Department -UNH Paul College Communications Department [UECOMM] -Summary of Position -Under general supervision of the Paul College Director of Communications and Marketing, act as the colleges primary storyteller. Responsible for crafting a strategic media plan and for creating a variety of compelling multimedia communications and marketing products to support and advance the colleges brand. Produce videos of social media quality, write web copy and news stories, take photographs, work with freelance writers, manage print publications, and initiate new digital communications strategies and tools. Primarily responsible for managing the colleges social media channels, for creating and budgeting campaigns, and measuring outcomes. Will support the marketing of high priority college events. Requires high level of professionalism, initiative and independent judgment to plan, prioritize and project manage a diverse workload. Effective visual skills that include ability to shoot social media quality videos and take photographs. 5. Demonstrated experience with social media and updating Drupal website. 6. Up-to-date knowledge on current trends within higher education. 7. Effective interpersonal skills. 8. Technology skills as required by department. -Additional Preferred Qualifications -1. Experience with email communications and marketing tools such as Constant Contact and Salesforce Marketing Cloud; design tools such as InDesign, Photoshop and Canva; project management tools such as Asana. 2.
