Our Harrisburg office is looking for a college student pursing a degree in Civil Engineering to work in the Highways group of our Transportation department in the fall of 2019.
This is a paid internship
� Assist the project team in highway design projects
� Conduct field work to document existing conditions, including potential survey support
� Design using CADD in MicroStation Software
� Create computer Modeling in Inroads Software
� Perform Quantity Calculations and measurements
� Interact with clients and subcontractors
� Gain exposure to the Civil Engineering industry
Required Education and Skills
� Student who is pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering
� Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel)
� Possession of a valid drivers license
� Ability to provide your own transportation to reporting site, which may vary between the Harrisburg office and job sites in the surrounding area

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some travel to project sites will be required. The work environment may involve moderate risk with field staff working on or near roadways, near stormwater/wastewater facilities, and construction sites. Personal protective equipment will be provided.
