This job brought to you by America's Job Exchange Type: Full Time Location: Savannah, Georgia Job Description: DESCRIPTION SHIFT: Days (rotating weekends) SCHEDULE: Full-time BASIC PURPOSE: COLLABORATES WITH DIRECTOR OF SYSTEM WELLNESS AND COMMUNITY HEALTH, CH LEADERSHIP, MARKETING, AND OUTREACH COORDINATOR TO COORDINATE A LOCAL COALITION FOCUSED ON INJURY PREVENTION THAT WILL HEIGHTEN AWARENESS OF THE CH AS WELL AS DRIVE NEW BUSINESS TO THE CH. WORK WITH THE FOUNDATION TO SEEK LOCAL FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES. COMPLIES WITH THE MEMORIAL HEALTH COMPLIANCE PROGRAM, RELATED POLICIES AND PROCEDURES AND THE CODE OF BUSINESS PRACTICES; REPORTS INSTANCES OF PERCEIVED AND ACTUAL NON-COMPLIANCE TO TEAM LEADER OR THROUGH OTHER REPORTING MECHANISMS. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND SPECIFIC TRAINING: Education Requires: Bachelor's degree Education Preferred: Public Health, Health Promotion, Allied Health License/Certification Preferred: Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician Special Skills Preferred: Public Health, Excellent presentation/communication skills; medical terminology preferred, must possess excellent computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, web, social media); position best suited for someone with an outgoing personality that enjoys public interaction and education. Experience Preferred Two (2) years of community outreach event/organization experience is preferred. Healthcare Experience Preferred.
