Company: Live Nation Industry: Events Job Type: Part Time Country: United States State/Province: California City: Beverly Hills Post Date: 06/27/2019 08:13 AM Job Summary: Live Nation Urban Internship Program Guidelines Objective : To learn the ins and outs of how the Live Nation Urban division operates as a standalone unit and as a team in tandem with our local office. The intern will also shadow multiple departments within the local office to learn every aspect of how the business functions. The intern will also shadow each department on a show day to learn how the respective department works in relation to getting a show off the ground. Booking 101 : * Learn the basics of booking talent * Learn how markets dictate where a tour is routed * Sit with our local team to learn the booking side from their perspective (new bands reaching out to them, talent buying, etc) Marketing 101 : * Learn the various ways we use marketing to sell our shows * Learn how marketing is as an invaluable asset in rolling out shows (print, radio spots, social media, etc) * Spend time shadowing our local Marketing team to learn how they work on the amphitheater side of shows * Shadow the Marketing team on a show day Sponsorship 101 : * Organize day of show details for sponsorship programs * Work on prospecting for potential new clients/conduct market research * Gather recap materials (data points/photos) and create a recap for 1 current sponsor * Familiarize themselves with sponsorship assets and create a proposal for a new inventory idea * Track media evaluation for venue naming rights partner Finance 101: * Build custom reports to pull data on concerts * Clean data to ensure reliable information is in our systems * Compare show results to understand performance * Analyze pre-built dashboards to identify areas of opportunity * Work with IT to test new data processing in our Business Intelligence tools PSS 101 : * Social Media management * Monthly Newsletter creation * Activation Research, planning, execution * Helping with random administrative tasks Job Summary: Live Nation Urban Internship Program Guidelines Objective : To learn the ins and outs of how the Live Nation Urban division operates as a standalone unit and as a team in tandem with our local office.
