Systems Engineer National Veterinary Associates Job Description About us: National Veterinary Associates (NVA) is the largest private owner of non-branded, free-standing veterinary hospitals. We currently own over 700 locations in over 40 states, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand and has grown rapidly and profitably every year since its inception in 1996. Whether a vet, technician, hospital manager, or member of our corporate support center, we seek to improve the lives of pets amp; pet parents. NVA is looking to hire a Technical/Functional Developer who will be responsible for supporting and furthering thecurrent Oracle PBCS efforts in the Oracle Cloud and potentially lead/implement Oracle Cloud ERPeffort in the near future as client, 2 Billion in revenue, continues their efforts to bring their financialsystems in line with the current business climate. This role reports to the Finance Projects and SystemsManager. Responsibilities: Gathering business andfunctional requirements and developing and implementing programs, projects, and initiatives that enhance overall business operations, communication, and workflow efficiencies Responsible for delivering development as needed, creating detailed design documents, configurations, performing unit testing, training end users and supporting Oracle PBCS and potential cloud ERP application Required: 2 years of experience working with on Oracle Cloud platform and 3+ years of functional experience with Oracle ERP applications Ability to support/integrate/replace older Platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics Solomon or COUPA and/or other legacy financial and HR systems. Firm grasp of IT development and implementation methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall or other. Experience in communicating with, and collaborating across all levels of an organization Proven ability to work in both a team environment and independently Strong time management skills and attention to detail Preferred: Experience with business process mapping, fit/gap Analysis, finance business processes re-engineering and solution designing etc. Hands on experience with ERP cloud security and workflows. Experience with Oracle Cloud Reporting tools including Financial Reporting Studio (FRS), Smart View, Essbase, OTBI and BI Reports. Accounting/Finance knowledge preferred. Working knowledge of Oracle Financials and Enterprise Planning amp; Budgeting Cloud Hands on experience in Oracle Fusion Financial Cloud system configurations, data conversions, integration and reporting, etc. OACS experience Education: College degree in Information Systems or a related field, and/or equivalent experience.
