JOB SUMMARY The Inspector will assist with the organizing of materials and prepare reports for inspection of products. This role will read and understand the requirements of workmanship standards, ES Procedures, EPS procedure, and FAR requirements. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Organizes parts/materials coming into the R/I area to optimize inspections by the R/I team. Enters data and prepares reports using personal computers. Updates the R/I aging report to optimize inspection priorities by the team. Assist MRB with scrapping activities. Demonstrates a positive/collaborative attitude for getting the job done. Conduct daily business with internal and external customers. Displays AES values and behaviors. Ensure that each inspection job performed is documented per inspection procedure and completed to the highest accuracy level. Perform other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1 - 2 years of related experience Weekend shift hours: Friday - Sunday 5:30 AM - 6:00 PM Eligibility Requirement: Must be a US Person (under ITAR rules) to be eligible Astronics AES is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
