As part of an award winning hospital system, our roles include: * Excellent benefits for part time and full time positions * Competitive pay * Development opportunities & tuition reimbursement Provides research, strategic sourcing, data analysis, decision support, contracting, and vendor performance/relationship management as assigned by service line in support of a system-wide Value Analysis process for the purchase of product, capital, and services. Researches and compiles market data, vendor information, group purchasing organizations and internal information using all systems/tools available. Provides and presents data on a system-wide level. Participates in and works collaboratively with system-wide clinical councils and value analysis teams on system initiatives. Along with a Clinical Resource Consultant and other clinical/non-clinical staff, plans and oversees initiatives. Serves as a resource to all system-wide affiliates. Responsible for negotiating, implementing, and maintaining contracts in a specified assigned service line. Demonstrates good negotiation skills to achieve the organization's clinical, financial, and service goals to achieve the best valued contracts for IU Health. Acts as the representative for IU Health in the contracting lifecycle from procurement strategy to contract negotiation through execution. QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES * Bachelor's Degree required. * Requires ability to maintain confidentiality. * 3-5 years of related experience required in healthcare preferred. * Requires knowledge in business application computer skills, PCs, and spreadsheet applications. * Requires experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. * Requires experience in analyzing data through the use of Excel and other tools. ,Proficient in the use of Supply Chain business systems and tools. * Demonstrates strong verbal, written and organizational skills. * Ability to work effectively as a team and independently to achieve departmental goals/Initiatives. ,Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities. * Requires strong customer service skills.
