Our Operations Leadership Program (OLP) interns will put you in the midst of a transformation that is sweeping across Operations and UTC. You will build a well-rounded platform on which to develop and exciting career in operations:
- Support the continued deployment of our continuous improvement operating system, ACE (Achieving Competitive Excellence), across our factories and beyond and become a certified ACE Associate
- Support global strategic sourcing and supplier development initiatives
- Learn the core concepts of manufacturing by applying cutting edge technology and lean principles
- Develop a cross-business, cross-functional network that will expand as your career grows
- Receiving mentoring & guidance from UTC Operations Leaders
- Work with current OLP Associates on enhancement teams to continuously improve the quality of the program within Pratt & Whitney.
The Commercial Engines Aftermarket Strategy & Pricing Team is responsible for the pricing of products and services offered to owners and operators of our jet engines. Since inception, the team has continued to grow in size and functions to drive enormous value into our organization. CE Aftermarket Strategy & Pricing is seeking a Pricing Analyst Intern to join our group. This high visibility role will collaborate with the existing Pricing team to identify, develop, and implement initiatives that will drive additional value and profit for Pratt & Whitney. As part of initiative identification and deployment, this role will also interface with teams across the entire organization and across the globe, in order to understand where and how these opportunities may be employed. To do this, this role will need to be able to perform business case analyses and other assessments to ensure that chosen initiatives will drive the anticipated value to the business. Our ideal candidate will be a creator and innovator, have an abundance of drive, strong analytical skills, problem solving skills, and attention to detail. Our ideal candidate will also have a demonstrated history of collaboration with diverse teams and a strong acumen with respect to communicating with individuals at all levels of the organization, from senior executives to individual contributors.
Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
Work side-by-side with teams in other organizations to identify new opportunities for business value
Analyze and quantify the potential benefits and drawbacks of identified opportunities
Maintain information and data from various sources that will be used in constant business analysis
Support existing business processes and units for contract (pricing and financial terms) management, spare part pricing and repair pricing
Act as an advocate for the continuous improvement in the ways we extract value from our business
*Education / Certifications
Pursuing B.A./B.S. degree required. Operations related fields e.g., engineering, logistics, supply chain, quality or manufacturing strongly preferred.
Minimum Overall GPA: 3.20 or higher
Strong commitment and interest in a career within Operations.
Proactive and results-driven individuals who thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Capacity to lead, motivate and influence through effective communications.
Candidates must be a current US Citizen or permanent resident.
