Pharmacy Intern - Per Diem Location CA-Colton Department Arrowhead Regional Medical Center Worker Category Per Diem PHARMACY INTERN - PER DIEM ARROWHEAD REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER COLTON, CA Hours: Approximately 16-19 hours per week or less. Shift: 4 to 8 hours per day days, evenings and weekends. As a Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) Pharmacy Intern you will work under the direct supervision of a pharmacist to perform a variety of technician duties while in training to become proficient in general pharmacy practices, procedures, and etiquette. You will perform drug inventory and delivery services, as directed. About the Facility: Arrowhead Regional Medical Center is a state-of-the-art, award-winning 456-bed facility offering a full range of patient services including six medical/surgical units, advanced critical care, neonatal intensive care, and emergency and trauma care. The hospital also features comprehensive rehabilitation services and a freestanding behavioral health facility. Owned by the County of San Bernardino, ARMC has a 24-hour Emergency Department which was recently voted ER of the Year by the California Emergency Physicians (CEP), Level 1 Primary Stroke Center, and the only Burn Center serving San Bernardino, Riverside, Inyo and Mono counties. The Inpatient Pharmacy is open 24 hours, 7 days a week. The Pharmacy is a busy and fast paced environment. Management of the Pharmacy is outsourced to Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS). All Pharmacy Staff are employees of CPS. Required Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent * Enrolled in a pharmacy program for at least 1 year * CA Pharmacy Intern License in good standing * Prior healthcare experience preferred with basic knowledge of medications * Effective verbal and written communication skills; basic math and computer skills Benefits: CPS Per Diem employees enjoy a competitive pay rate and eligibility for 401(k) retirement program with a company match.
