Human Resources Intern pThe HR Intern will have the opportunity to directly assist the Recruiting Manager and team with AMR recruiting. This yearrsquo;s project will focus on recruiting and sourcing the best possible talent. This internship is designed to be both educational and practical. In this position, the intern will learn how to take skills she or he may have acquired in school related to his or her particular areas of interest, and apply them in a professional setting. He or she will gain a better understanding of the vital role that Recruiting playrsquo;s in the Human Resources organization.pEssential FunctionsSourcing candidates using creative and effective methods to find the talent needed for the organizationCreate and place ads for open positions that will attract qualified candidatesScreen resumes and forward to hiring managerMaintain communication with hiring managers during the pre-employment processMaintain communication with the HR Department well as other staff as needed on current activities, issues, etc.May write activity reports, other reports or compile and present data related to recruitingTakes on other tasks and projects as assignedlQualificationsCurrently enrolled college undergraduate or graduate students.Applicants should possess the following:Pursuing a Bachelorrsquo;s degree in Human Resources or related field.Proficiency using Microsoft Suite and internet research tools.Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently and clearly communicate information in writing and verbally.Ability to maintain confidentiality of all aspects of job responsibilities.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Proven people skills.Cooperative attitude with team-oriented disposition.Desire to pursue a professional career in Human Resources.Previous experience/knowledge of an HRIS and hiring/interviewing practices preferred.lp
