Parkour Instructor The Playground Gym - Portland, OR Full-timeEstimated: $29,000 - $38,000 a year Save Skills * Gymnastics Local multi-sport Portland kids gym is looking for a motivated, dynamic coach to lead classes, camps, and parties in an athletic environment. The ideal person is friendly, organized, dependable and can bring positive energy to every task. The position offers evening hours that can work with a variety of schedules. Weekend availability is a must, however. This position is perfect for a student or part-time worker looking for additional hours, assuming schedules match up. If you have the experience and chops, there are opportunities for more coaching hours both classes and camp season approaching full time. Applicants must: Be extroverted and have an outgoing personality. Communicate clearly and positively with both kids and adults. Be hardworking and energetic. Be self-motivated-you will not be micro-managed! Willing to learn new skills and be a quick study. Be comfortable in front of large groups and leading group activities. We will train the right candidate, but special consideration for those who have: Worked in a teaching or educational environment. Taught group classes.
