Use expertise to review and analyze test data to determine the condition of power equipment. Develop test procedures and maintenance and testing schedules. Provide technical support to all areas of the company. Minimum Requirements: Associate level: Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET approved curriculum. Certified by the Louisiana Professional Engineering and Land Surveying Board as an Engineer Intern preferred. Grade: GR012 Mid-level: Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET approved curriculum, certified by the Louisiana Professional Engineering and Land Surveying Board as an Engineer Intern, and a minimum of two years directly related experience. Grade: GR010 Senior level: Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) from ABET approved school. 8 years experience (5 years experience with Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration) Grade: GR008 Principal Accountabilities: Provide technical assistance and expertise to apparatus specialists and repairers in all areas of power equipment installation, testing, checkout, maintenance, and troubleshooting to minimize customer and system impact. Review and analyze equipment test data, oil samples, and gas samples to determine equipment condition. This data will be used to develop maintenance and testing schedules to maximize manpower usage and minimize equipment failures. Train apparatus specialists and repairers in testing and maintenance procedures for power equipment. Provide technical expertise to all areas of the company relating to the use, application, and operation of power equipment and controls.
