Provide technical assistance and training to apparatus maintenance personnel in all areas of power equipment installation, operation, testing, checkout, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Use expertise to review and analyze test data to determine the condition of power equipment. Develop test procedures and maintenance and testing schedules. Provide technical support to all areas of the company.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET approved curriculum. Certified by the Louisiana Professional Engineering and Land Surveying Board as an Engineer Intern preferred.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET approved curriculum, certified by the Louisiana Professional Engineering and Land Surveying Board as an Engineer Intern, and a minimum of two years directly related experience.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) from ABET approved school. 8 years experience (5 years experience with Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration)
Provide technical assistance and expertise to apparatus specialists and repairers in all areas of power equipment installation, testing, checkout, maintenance, and troubleshooting to minimize customer and system impact.
Review and analyze equipment test data, oil samples, and gas samples to determine equipment condition. This data will be used to develop maintenance and testing schedules to maximize manpower usage and minimize equipment failures.
Train apparatus specialists and repairers in testing and maintenance procedures for power equipment.
Provide technical expertise to all areas of the company relating to the use, application, and operation of power equipment and controls.
Provide technical expertise in the analysis, evaluation, and purchase of modern power equipment and technologies.
